About Me

A scholar with the title of Associate Professor in the field of Cardiovascular Surgery, Medical Doctor.

Dr. Pelin Öztürk, one of Turkey’s first female Cardiovascular Surgeons, is a member of the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS), the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT), the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery (TKDCD), and the National Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Association (UVECD).

Ranked among the top 100 in the national ranking, she completed her master’s degree at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1993 and then received specialized training at Marmara and Ege Universities’ Medical Faculties.

During this time, she conducted research on Artificial Heart Systems and Heart Transplantation in various centers, including the German Heart Center/Berlin. In 2012, after obtaining the title of ‘Specialist Doctor,’ she worked at Behçet Uz Children’s Hospital and later, starting from 2015, served as a Clinical Specialist in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine.Dr. Pelin Öztürk, actively contributing to the Ege University Faculty of Medicine Education Commission, has been involved in the training of surgical specialist students and medical faculty students, among other responsibilities.

Throughout her career, Dr. Pelin Öztürk has kept abreast of developments in her field. Combining her years of surgical experience with modern laser technologies, she aims to provide comfort and synergy in her private clinic, COR CLINIC, located in the Alsancak district of beautiful Izmir.

After in-depth research, she received practitioner certificates through special training on FOTONA Laser Systems in the cities of Venice and Ljubljana. She implements cutting-edge treatment methods with advanced devices in her health center.
